SpotlightModifying trusses and systems

The truss context menu provides options for selecting and editing truss objects or entire systems. Right-click on a truss object in the drawing, and select the desired command from the context menu. Many of these commands are also available on the Object Info palette.

Description

Customize Truss Symbol Data

Opens the Truss Properties dialog box for Modifying truss symbol data

Select Objects of Same Symbol

Selects truss objects with the same Symbol definition

Select Objects of Same Cross Section

Selects truss objects with the same Cross section parameter

Select System Objects

Selects all truss objects connected within the same system, along with all associated loads, hoists, and so on

Change Trim Height of System

Opens the Change Trim Height dialog box for Changing the trim height of a system

Change Configuration

Opens the Change Replace Truss Configuration dialog box for Replacing truss configurations

Rename Truss System

Opens the Change Truss System Name dialog box for Renaming truss systems

Convert to Hanging Position

Selects the entire system, including the truss and any connected rigging objects, for conversion to one or more hanging positions. Any attached loads are associated with the created hanging position(s); see Creating a hanging position object.
